Latest Group policy changes in Windows 10 Fall Creators Update.

Microsoft has made excited everyone with the release of Windows 10 fall Creators update few months before. This time with a bunch of features. Following to this Microsoft has released new ADMX template for Windows 10 1709 and Windows Server 2016. This release was quicker than last one.

Recently Microsoft has announced ‘Windows 10 Enterprise E3 license program’. Small businesses can get the advantage out of this. Instead of purchasing the license we can pay monthly for Windows 10 Enterprise and the charge would be around $7 per seat per month.

Microsoft has made available latest ADMX spreadsheet along with the release of ADMX template which will give us details of each and every setting of new ADMX templates.

From the above link just download only the following file and the size is around 684KB.

Microsoft is actually updating this spreadsheet every time they release a new ADMX templates. How we will find out which are the settings newly available in Windows 10 1709 from this spreadsheet? You will see the version number 1709 along with some settings mentioned in the spreadsheet. Those setting are only available with Windows 10 1709.

PowerShell became Open Source and it is available for Linux and MAC OSX

Good news for all technical guys. Microsoft has made PowerShell available in Linux and MAC operating systems. In more specific powershell is available for Ubuntu 14.04, Ubuntu 16.04, Cent OS 7 and MAC OSX 10.10.11. Installation procedure is very simple. We all know Mr. Satya Nadella CEO of Microsoft had said that Microsoft Loves Linux. After few days of this prologue Microsoft has made PowerShell open source. This proves Satya Nadella’s words were not just words . From the beginning of testing I could realize Microsoft has done a decent work to make PowerShell work in other operating systems and lot of cmdlets has been included. In future we hope Microsoft will provide us more control over Linux and MAC operating systems through PowerShell and SCCM agent. As of now SCCM agent is available for all operating systems. Enable Samsung Pay in Your Samsung Phone When You buy it from another Country where Samsung Pay is Unavailable.

I write this blog from my own experience. Couple of months back I had bought a Samsung Galaxy S8 from Germany where Samsung Pay is not yet released. (Still Samsung is in discussion with German banks for the collaboration.) and I brought it to India. I was sad that I could not enable Samsung Pay in India even though it was available in India. The reason was Samsung phones will always try to reach the servers for updates in the country where it was sold from. Also in Samsung Apps store, application's descriptions were written German language. I did contact Samsung Germany's support as well as Samsung India's support unfortunately both had left me in darkness. They informed me that I must wait until Samsung Pay is launched in Germany.
